The Project - ELP-TT

The project is designed to contribute to the dissemination and implementation of Council of Europe political concepts - especially plurilingualism, pluriculturalism and education for democratic citizenship - by supporting the widespread and effective use of the ELP and (by implication) the Common European Framework of Reference.

General aims

To support the implementation of the ELP in Council of Europe member states by

  • developing materials and activities for ELP-related teacher training;
  • mediating the materials and activities in a central workshop;
  • supporting national ELP training events and projects.

 

The platform
 
This platform provides information, materials and tips for teacher training used in National Events in ECML countries. You can download and use these materials for teacher training in your own context. Help yourselves!

Expected results and output: 

  • developing and dissemination of online materials (samples of best practice) in several languages on the ELP implementation website http://elp-implementation.ecml.at

Target audience for the activities planned within the project and for project results:  

  • teachers working as multipliers in networks;
  • teacher educators;
  • decision-makers at ministry level and/or regional boards of education involved in language education policy, inspectors and heads of (language) schools.

  • lower and upper secondary schools;  
  • vocationally oriented schools;    
  • colleges, universities;
  • teacher education;
  • adult education, workplace;
